'I’ve stayed here a few times and it is always good value for money and easy to use, the communication with the host is good and the different choice of rooms is good. Free parking is available overnight a few minutes walk away after 6pm. Place is always clean and quiet.'

'We had a lovely stay at Lockton Cottage, it was very comfortable and had everything we needed. The welcome goodies were a great touch, and we really appreciated the tea, milk etc..after our long journey. We would definitely stay again.'

'The cottage is wonderfull, clean and well organized. It has a lovely garden with a stunning view. A lot to see and do in the area, not very far from the cottage. We had a lovely time!'

'Stunning cottage, very tastefully decorated and very well equipped. The host has thought of everything. We stayed for 4 nights whilst our daughter was getting married at the nearby White Sykes Fields and we were not disappointed this little gem of a cottage was the perfect place for a relax before and after the wedding. 'Enjoyed our stay in Feversham Cottage, we have stayed here several times previously. House is spacious, well equipped, clean and comfortable. And just a short walk to the market square. '

'Everything was great other than communication for check in. The link I was sent was broken and the host never responded to phone calls or voice messages or emails to give us the information. We managed to find the actual property by identifying it from photos, we then had to phone around to get the key code as we sat outside the property. This needs to be improved '

'We, two adult parents, stayed for a week in this lovely cottage with our three children and their partners (7 in Total) and were really happy. We felt at home. Great kitchen, well equipped, and even a TV in the kitchen, in the living room and in the bedroom to watch the World Championships soccer. Best pub nearby where we had ‘Sunday lunch’ (roast beef and Yorkshire pudding). Great surroundings. The rain was sometimes heavy, but did not bother us really. Good contacts with the owners about small...

'A wonderful apartment in a peaceful and beautiful setting. York is just around the corner and we found this a great base for our trips around Yorkshire. Everything you need is available and the landlords were very friendly and communicative. We can only recommend it and will definitely be back!'
