'The view was so lovely ! very quiet relaxing place to stay, and just wonderful to have linen provided. Truly was so tidy and clean when we got there ! Managed to get out and explore the Caves further down at Waverly Beach (just turn right out gate) and drive 2 mins - but you must wait until the tide goes out to explore. Beautiful beach you feel like your at the end of the world.'

'Barbwire Bach has everything you need to enjoy its location with the added bonus of having access to their boxing gym. The kids absolutely loved it. Overlooking Opunake Lake and with the beach an enjoyable 3 minute walk away - or longer if the kids want to climb the pohutukawa trees and play on the playground, I have no hesitation in recommending Barbwire Bach and hope to stay again.'
