Our expectation!!! Pictures don't do justice .
The food was amazing . The spa was incredible . The beach is small but they clear the sargassum and it was exponentially better than farther down the peninsula. Great excursions!!!!'

'I stayed here alone in one of their villas. The first two days were amazing. The staff was great, and I had such a good time. Unfortunately, that completely changed after a very frightening experience.
On my second day, one of the male workers asked for my phone number and told me I was beautiful. As a woman traveling alone, I already felt that this was inappropriate and made me uncomfortable.
That same night, at around 4 am I woke up to someone trying to open the door to my bedroom....

'Arrived late after communicating with the desk staff that I may arrive after the cutoff. Was able to get to my room and get some food before the resturant closed. The roof bar had a nice view and the pools and beach were well maintained except for a large hole in the surface area of one of the wadding areas. The people were friendly and accommodating and the area was nice. All said a good experience.'

'This is one of the best stays I have had of all time! The house has the perfect layout, top quality finishes throughout the property, and super clean/well manicured. The location is close to lots of great restaurants and things to do in Maya Beach as well a a quick golf cart ride to Placencia. The cherry on top to this resort is their incredible staff. From the friendly maintenance staff to the fun bartenders to the awesome owner. We were safe, well cared for and genuinely made to feel so at...

'Copal Tree is an amazing place. Nestled on top of a hill in the heart of the rainforest Rooms are very private and they have screened balconies that place you in the heart of the rainforest. Staff are so friendly and helpful. So many activities. Did a birding class in the morning and saw keelbilled toucans and collated aracaris steps from our room. Would definitely come back for a return trip.'
