'Amazing how they were able to equip the train carriage with modern amenities while retaining the original charm. Bath was an add on unit with full fixtures but integrated with the train. Good AC and heating options and nice kitchenette. Check out the fabulous Hobbit and ferrry boat options.'

'Had arrived late in Waitomo, friendly greeting by hosts whom were very accommodating showing the suite and property grounds should I wish to take evening stroll. Was an early start next morning but super easy to check out after wonderful nights sleep. Would definitely stay again if in area very central to all the activities. Thank you'

'Perfect location for us coming from Te Awamutu for a quick one nighter at the beach. Stayed on matariki and how winderful because the stars were very visable. As a dog friendly property we took our small doggo and he went nuts on the beach. We enjoyed it so much, thank you and we want to make a regular thing of it. '
