'From start to end of booking and stay was seamless. Communication was fast and efficient, and so helpful considering I was arriving very late and checking out very early. Just what I needed to help me rest on my travels.'

'When you drive up to the lodge, you think "What did I book myself into?" But once you get inside everything is fine. The AC definitely works, and the room has everything you need. A train does run behind the motel, but doesn't go often and doesn't sound it's whistle. The shower was a bit basic but it worked. You have to drive downtown to find a restaurant.'

'The room was very musty and art decor on the walls had a layer of dust on them. Bed mattress was old and lumpy. We booked two nights but only stayed one. Would not recommend this and hopefully they'll refurbish the facility. '

'Really nice view. We stayed in the glamping tent. Was really nice. Our daughter also loved it. Double bed is a bit on the small side but for the rest all great. Owner very nice and good communication. Would come back for sure'

'Fantastic Apartment, nicely furnished. Location was amazing, very peaceful and quiet. Nice and close to waitomo caves, and 10 minutes from either Te Kuiti or Otorohanga. Brenda and Andrew were lovely hosts. The dogs were very kind, esepcially Tilly, she demands many belly rubs. The recently installed Air-Con was a godsend for summer time. My Fiancee and I had a wonder 2 nights here. '

'It was slightly tight for 3 adults with lots of luggage. Atmosphere was nice and close to both Waitomo cave and the restaurants. '

'If you are looking to escape the hustle and bustle of city life and truly reconnect with nature, this is the perfect place. The views are absolutely stunning, and the atmosphere is so tranquil. It’s an ideal spot to bring a group of friends for a long getaway to just relax and recharge. ​Just a heads-up: the location is quite remote and the mountain roads can be a bit challenging to navigate.
