'De kamer en bedden waren oké. Het bedienend personeel 's avonds liet op zich wachten, evenals de bestelde gerechten - meer dan een half uur - terwijl wij de enige eters waren. Het overige personeel deed zijn best. Meerdere ontbijtgerechten werden steeds te laat bijgevuld. De vloer van de ontbijtruimte pikte. Het ontbijt was verder vrij eenvoudig. '

'My husband said the meal we had at high tea was the best food he has ever ate in his life! I would agree the food at dinner and breakfast was exceptional. Staff so friendly and helpful. Only issue was the air conditioner system and the bed wasnt very comfy. Minor though and we had an excellent stay. Cant wait to come back! '

'De kamers zijn schoon maar sinds de jaren 70 is er wel iets veranderd en de kamers zouden een grote update moeten hebben want het is echt oud allemaal, wat ook voor de rest van het hotel geld. Tevens vinden ze het normaal om feesten te houden waarbij het hele hotel mee geniet van de muziek omdat deze zo hard staat. Gezien deze prijs/ kwaliteit zeker geen aanrader.'

'Lovely little village hotel with comfortable rooms and friendly staff. My twin room was spotlessly clean with a well stocked tea tray with range of teas/coffee/biscuits etc. and premium bottled waters. Large shower room and ample towels, toiletries and bath robes. Only complaint is kitchen closes early at 6.45pm and no other options to eat out close by and rooms to front can be noisy being on a main road. Overall, would stay again, ideal for racecourse and Palace.'
