'My husband and i loved that there was a place to store our bikes when we were not using them.The Room was clean and very cool looking. Bed was ok. Breakfast could have been better. Over all great stay. We would go back. '

'The outside of the property is a bit worn and landscaping needs work for better curb appeal. The room was spotless and I appreciated that. We did not go to the breakfast as the timing was early for us. The property is near eating and shopping and we enjoyed staying there '

'Owner/manager was very accommodating of some small last minute changes. The place had a very fun and family atmosphere. Would definitely choose again for hiking the state parks in the area.'

'Property is as listed. It is a fully operational farm so keep that in mind. We went up for a race weekend @ Deer creek speedway. Does offer amenities including washer, dryer, toaster, stove/oven, and refrigerator. Pull out sofa along with some cots. Shower and toilet, it is also equipped with ac/heat. Does have a barn available ( more or less camping ). Would visit again. '

'Our stay was wonderful! It was so calm, peaceful, and relaxing. Yvette was so kind and helpful. The breakfasts were all super delicious. They had games for outside, and fishing, and we all had lots of fun hunting for fossils in the river. We were a little concerned about being in the same house and eating breakfast with the owners (with several rambunctious kids and several introverts) but they made us feel completely at home and comfortable. It was like staying with family in all the best...

'We came up for the weekend for our fanily reunion . The house is old & smells like an old house, which isn't a bad thing. The house was clean & tidy. We couldn't find the hot tub,but it was all good. We didn't spend much time at the house, except for sleeping & watching tv in the evening. Thank you for a pleasant stay.'

'This quaint little retreat is exactly as pictured! Andrea and Sheldon are wonderful hosts and thought of everything you didn't know you needed for your stay - including board games, an umbrella and even a blanket on the outdoor couch for chilly nights while using the fire pit - which they also provided the fire wood. The place was very clean. We enjoyed all the animals as well. We highly recommend the Country School Guesthouse for your next stay in the Lanesboro area.'

'Dan was super nice and accommodating. If you are looking for a 5 star hotel, look elsewhere. It you want a large, clean farmhouse, this place is for you. Being a working family farm, expect to see a tractor or two going in and out. We really enjoyed sitting on the wrap around porch with a book watching the cows. Lilly, the family's dog, was super friendly and may come to visit you. We will definitely go back! Thanks again Dan!'
