'This hotel with a history offers great surroundings near Saranac lake, spacious, modern and clean family rooms, and friendly staff for a reasonable price. During our 3 week trip in July through north east of USA and Canada we planned to stay here for 2 nights but decided to stay an extra night. We were very lucky with the weather ( 75 -82 F) but heard the winter period lasts long and is tough.'

'Our stay at Prescott House was a delight. The house is unique, cozy, and welcoming! The onsite manager was friendly and available, and we had everything we needed. The large bathrooms are shared, but the doors can be locked for quick showers, and there are also a few private half-baths (and one private shower) scattered throughout the building. 'handige locatie middenin Malone, hartelijke ontvangst, 24/7 koffie in de lobby, redelijk ontbijt met warme wafels, geen vieze vloerbedekking maar mooi schoon licht zeil in de kamer. De Exc King Room heeft alles wat je nodig hebt voor een nacht en als je nog wat wilt werken. Internet was snel en bij het boeken via internet hebben ze rekening gehouden met mijn wensen. 'Absolutely loved my time here. First off, it’s a college dorm room. It’s cheap, it’s clean and better than being out in woods. Bed is comfortable. There’s a fridge and microwave. There’s a complimentary breakfast which was better than a lot of hotels I’ve stayed in. There’s four rooms to a suite so I guess there’s a chance others could be there but I had the place to myself for two nights. All staff members I interacted with were warm and friendly. 'The property was perfect for us (mom, dad, 13 yr old). It was more spacious than I expected and had everything you could possibly need (including board games). Very clean and the bed and couch were super comfy. We would absolutely stay here again.'

'The lean to and surrounding property looked fantastic on the listing, but it was even better than we anticipated. This place had everything we needed to make our stay fun and enjoyable. We stayed for five days and it went by too fast. We hope to come back again.'
