'As we were to visit the Rocky Mountain Rodeo that evening, we booked the Walking Eagle inn and Lodge. A perfect choice. Nice that the bar was in the hotel and we had a good breakfast. Only too bad was that the breakfast did not include Tea or orangejuice as we had to pay extra for that. It was a very good stay.'

'Lovely place. Tucked away in the mountains, close to plenty of fun hikes and wilderness adventures, as well as a pleasant little town full of rural Alberta charm. The cabin is closely adjacent to a couple other cabins so don't expect complete isolation, but that said, we never saw any of the other guests. 'Absolutely fabulous place - well stocked, clean, and comfortable. We had a 50th birthday tea party and sleepover, and could not have asked for a better site. There are 5 or 6 steps up to the cabin, and inside there is a bedroom on the immediate left with a 4 piece bathroom across from it. Then there is the kitchen , dining and living room, and the deck. This was great for our mobility challenged members, as they could access everything they needed on one floor. Upstairs is the open loft...
