'Beautiful location, quiet, lovely views and amazing sights very nearby. We had everything necessary for a comfortable stay, a well equipped kitchen -as we enjoy making our own meals, the BBQ was great, there was plenty of firewood for sitting around the fire in the evenings.'

The woodburning fireplace and high ceilings created a lovely atmosphere for relaxing. The location is perfect to feel like you're in the mountains but only minutes from Nordegg. Would definitely stay again! '

'Our group stayed for a weekend at the cabin for a surprise birthday party. The property was exactly as described. The cabin had plenty of room inside and out for our group. The host played along with the initial surprise which was most appreciated. The perfect place for a quiet and private retreat. I would return to this property for a group event again.'

The kitchen is well stocked with all the cookware and bakeware you could need, as well as a good supply of basic condiments and spices. Location was great, just on the outskirts of town, so easily accessible, and a nice location for lake access and walking along Lakeshore Drive. 'At first when we pulled up and seen this tiny little cabin I was disappointed thinking it would feel cramped and be disorganized. Once we opened the door I was super excited to see that it is just like the pictures, bright, roomy and has the best beach access. Literally 60 seconds to the beach. There were plenty of fans and air conditioners to keep us comfortable in each room and we had everything we needed for cooking. Definitely would recommend. '

'This is a fantastic property with complete privacy .Love the trails in the forest and the manicured yard with the beautiful man made pond…the water is so clear !Wood fired hot tub is a treat and wonderful views of the stars at night..Chris is a very conscientious host and provides great communication …Burch Forest farm fresh eggs, honey that they obtain from their own beehives , and homemade wine are an excellent “bonus”…“Canadiana “ in its truest form , you can luxuriate in all Bruch Forest...
