'We loved our stay in this cozy cottage! The windows in the back overlooked the York River and it is so serene. There was plenty of yard for our dog to sniff around and we loved watching the birds in the marshy area. Our host was very helpful and a pleasure to work with. It was very close to Yorktown. 'Nice property however needs a deep cleaning….refrigerator, under beds, sticky floors, and ceiling fan definitely needs attention. Nice area. The dining area antique table and chairs are not comfortable…the rest of the couches and chairs are good…lots of room and nice game room.'

'This was a great experience and we had a wonderful time. The home has plenty of space for a large group and we loved the pier, beach and water. It's not far from grocery stores and restaurants. 'Very good for the price. While the home well water may be drinkable , visitors should know it has a strong unpleasant metallic taste and smell. It is also slightly colored in a clear glass, and it had clearly left brown colored residues in the toilets making them look very unclean especially the toilet upstairs.
