'It was good stay overall'

'I love that the hotel is right on the water and you can walk out to the beach and have chairs or loungers available. Bring your own towels though, they do not provide them for you. It also helped that you could rent kayaks or jet skis right there too. They had a nice variety of options you can choose from for breakfast and it is delivered to your room. We didn't go to the pool but we saw it when we checked in, it seemed just fine. The sunsets were just amazing!'

'Locatie is goed maar de kamer was niet heel schoon bij binnenkomst. (Komt mede doordat er snel veel zand wordt binnen gelopen). We hadden voor 3 personen een kamer geboekt (2v1k) maar het bed voor ons kind was niet opgemaakt. Ook handdoeken, bekers en buiten stolen waren allemaal voor 2 personen. '

'Room was nice beds were pretty comfortable. We had a view of the parking lot so that wasn’t great but could also see golf course a bit too. Checkin and checkout were very easy and quick. Overall good service. The hot tub wasn’t working properly though and wasn’t very clean, pool was ok. For the price we expected a bit better honestly. Would stay here again but at that price we have stayed at other hotels in the area that we would likely pick over this one and closer to Traverse city downtown.'

'Clean room, friendly, helpful, staff, and great breakfast. Grounds left much to be desired with trash cans overflowing outside front entrance and in the restroom, dirty entrance rugs, and an overall lack of being attended to . The room was great and beds were amazing! Also, i was surprised to be on the third floor with a large window that opened wide and no screen. Thankful I didn’t have young kids with me and surprised that would even pass code.'

'When we arrived we’re were given a “key” to our room. After entering we quickly realized that this was someone’s else’s room because their things were still there. Good thing they weren’t stepping out of the shower when we entered! Back to the desk..no apologies just here’s another room for you. We quickly left for. Our planned event and only realized the next morning that there wasn’t any soap or shampoo! Pretty expensive stay not to at least have the basics We both found the hotel in need...

'Our stay was great. Everything was comfortable and for the most part clean… but our bathroom wreaked of urine as soon as we got in to the room and the smell never left. When I looked around the toilet, there was pee all over, I think the seal is bad on the toilet. I ended up spraying around the bottom with hand sanitizer and lining it with towels. It still smelled terrible. Other than that, great hotel! Easy check-in and out. No other complaints.'

'Great place especially if you have kids! Breakfast could have a bit more variation for those staying longer but it was good nonetheless. Staff were super friendly and attentive.'

'This is a great place to stay, however, if you’re in the adjoining rooms and you have noisy neighbors ….it echoes back into the other room if you’re not in a hallway room. The management was excellent on having a loud child next-door quiet down , even though it was due to the combined entry point. Loved the beds and the view was excellent. Rooftop bar was really nice and pleasant. They had cookies in the evening, which were really good and they always had to grab breakfast of croissant or stone...

'Hotel was clean and well maintained. We arrived around 8:00pm and decided to eat at the restaurant on property. We were surprised to be told that the kitchen closes at 9:00. It’s a Casino Hotel. Food was average and staff friendly but not well trained. Our server did not know how to open the bottle of wine we ordered but was very grateful we taught her. Also disappointed that they only clean the room every 3 days. When we requested fresh towels they left a bag of towels outside our room...

'Easy check in/out. Breakfast was standard. My only complaint would be that check in is not until 4 pm.'

'Not as expected. The room was basically like a days inn with some added pine trim. If you’re not in the main building or have a balcony off the back, you’re better off staying somewhere cheaper. Nothing special and not as nice as the pictures suggested. The window was dirty, facing the highway, and you could hear the people above our room walking across the floor. The beach was tiny. It was barely as wide as the handful of beach chairs. Would not suggest for the price and would not go back.'
