'This is a superb hotel. The standard of the (huge) rooms, the facilities and service is quite superb. The Pullman Restaurant is a magical experience in itself being original carriages from the Orient Express! The food was excellent and the service (from waiter Bartolomeij) was of the highest order! Top marks, would recommend this to anyone!'

'I went on a bank holiday weekend and the staff were amazing! There were lots of staff that were calm and accommodating to our needs (one just needed a wheelchair which they provided for use in the hotel). The food was very good for all our meals. Also, the singers in the bar were excellent in the evening. My only complaint was that the changing rooms at the gym/pool were quite smelly!'

'The waterford castle did not disappoint! Beautiful property, ferry ride over to the private island and a friendly staff ready to tell you all about the wallabies and deer that share the island! The castle is gorgeous and the food is fine dining at its best! It is a true old castle so expect authenticity and a minor reduction in modern day amenities, but also know it is absolutely worth it! This stay made our trip highly memorable!'

'Elke 8 weken ga ik naar Cork om mijn klanten te bezoeken. En iedere keer verheug ik mij er op dat ik overnacht op Fota Island. Een geweldige rustgevende locatie. Een aangename sfeer, goede maaltijden, en natuurlijk een zeer uitgebreid ontbijt buffet. Alleen daaraan kan ik wel een uur besteden. Ga je naar Cork, ga dan naar Fota Island.'
