'Location right to the beach, its a bit older hotel and lunch/dinner could be better'

'Mooi resort. Service had er iets meer boven op mogen zitten bij binnenkomst bij zo'n luxe resort. Koffers werden niet aangenomen wisten niet waar we naar toe moesten. Inchecken was zakelijk. Twee keer moeten vragen om een extra bed. Verdere service geweldig. '

'Stayed here a week, our first time in Costa Rica. Great location if you’re looking for the surf town vibe, breakfast buffet was good- staff seemed a little lacking in customer service at times but we found a couple who were gems! Beach side of resort has different vibe than the location across the street. Much quieter on that side. Enjoyed our experience and would come back. The excursions and hotel transportation we booked were cheaper NOT booked through the resort.'

'Room with great view over the ocean (just shame that a car park with a container was in the way). Service generally good, depending on which member of staff you got. WiFi is unreliable. Restaurant food generally delicious. Room could be better insulated, I heard the family next door through the connecting door. W’a so-called “Whatever Whenever” service is not really that - I couldn’t get help for even simple things like a stamp for a postcard.'

'A little oasis! Gorgeous garden with a pool. The staff is superkind! Special thank you to Nancy, Mario and Endy! The complimentary dinner is sometimes great, sometimes mediocre but breakfast is always terrific. The room was spacious and had a nice balcony. The beach is frequented by locals and tourists alike and a great place for surfing from beginners upward. The hotel's beach area is very nice with a small pool. Only minus is the costs of tours and activities. Tamarindo has something to offer...

'What a great hotel and helpful staff. The rooms are clean with a super little kitchen and fridge. Water and ice by the pool. And the best thing is it's location right on the glorious beach of Tamarindo. 10mins walk to all amenities.'

'Mooi hotel in rustige prachtige omgeving. Strand heel mooi en zeer rustig. Geen opdringerige verkoopwrs. Hotel is verder prima met ontbijtbuffet. Zeer mooie grote kamers. Dorp moet nog wel groeien.'

'Het Hotel ligt op een mooie plek aan het strand met veel groen. Goede ontvangst. Vriendelijk personeel en kleinschalig. Jammer dat het restaurant matig was en de badkamer sterk verouderd, waardoor het ook niet echt goed schoon te krijgen is(voegen en kapotte tegels) Een klamboe zou ook wel fijn zijn!'

'Desde mi llegada fui recibida por Patrick, por ser miembro Gold de Expedia me dieron dormitorio con muy buena ubicación y con cocina, el cual estaba ya con el aire acondicionado funcionando y súper limpio todo; tanto la habitación como el baño y la cocina. Sandra de Recepción es muy atenta, amable y cordial. Todo el personal es muy atento y servicial. La habitación nítida de limpia y las toallas y ropa de cama de primera. La reunión de los jueves con todos los huéspedes es muy buena para...

'No signage for check in office. Looked like a doofus while staff just stared at us. Then to find out our jacuzzi was not functional. Else did get it fixed and finally was able to comp our drinks for the second day of our stay. Said it was adults only yet there were people with babies crying on the beach day beds. Also the locals who keep trying to sell you things on the beach were the worst! Killed the relaxed vibe for sure'
