'I expected that the cabin would be ruined from the flood. I called a day or so before I was due to arrive when I got an automatic message about arrival. Of course I was not comfortable coming as I had a reservation for the end of camp and camps had closed and girls sent home. I said I hoped they could use my dates for volunteers or people who had lost their homes. I hope camp will open next year and I would reserve again. 'We were scheduled to stay there starting July 7th but due to the tragic flooding on July 4th, we were unable to visit the property. Becky was very kind and understanding and allowed a refund for our stay. We're going to give it a little time and try to rebook what looks like a fantastic property to visit.'

'This location is absolutely fantastic. Direct access to the Frio river for swimming, fishing or just enjoying the beautiful view. We were a family group of all ages, and everyone had a wonderful time. Easy communication with the owner for questions. Highly recommend.'

'Great place for our getaway will stay again soon. Just bring bed sheets. pillows and blankets and towels kitchens are full equipped for cooking. Place was big and roomy and cozy Had a fireplace but didn’t use it. 'My husband and I came to Fredericksburg for a short stay to celebrate our 46th wedding anniversary. The bed was comfortable, and the small unit had everything we needed for a pleasant stay. The only thing we would like for it to have been ideal is a corner floor lamp, or better ambient light. We are both readers, and the lighting in the living room was not conducive to that. But fine overall.'

'Just the right size. Bed was very comfortable. Temperature of unit was great. Responsiveness when we needed assistance was expedient, resolved the issue, and Elaine was so pleasant.
