We only had 1 night reserved and after the flood, we contacted the Hotel to see if they would need us to cancel our reservation to allow for access by Emergency responders. 'Older property, but well kept. Staff is very friendly. Game watching tour was excellent, saw lots and lots of native and exotic game. Road are paved and easily travelled. You can see a lot of game by simply riding the paved roads slowly. Beautiful new pool. Great sightseeing. Good hearty meals.'

'We had a very nice spacious ground floor room with king bed and large bathroom (suite 7) in the Carriage House annex. It had a view of the main building's rear. It is a nice heritage building. Towels and shower were good. Breakfast offered freshly made hot items and home-made jam of good quality. Friendly staff. Parking in the quiet street in front of the hotel. Breakfast time between 9 and 10 am, a bit too late to our liking. The king bed was a bit too sensitive to a partner's movements in bed....
