'This property has absolutely gorgeous views. It has an old world Spanish Mexican mix feel you would not expect in hill country. The main limiting factor is there is not any lunch or dinner options Sunday through Thursday. You would need to drive into town or be very creative with the food supplies you bring with you. '

'We had a very nice spacious ground floor room with king bed and large bathroom (suite 7) in the Carriage House annex. It had a view of the main building's rear. It is a nice heritage building. Towels and shower were good. Breakfast offered freshly made hot items and home-made jam of good quality. Friendly staff. Parking in the quiet street in front of the hotel. Breakfast time between 9 and 10 am, a bit too late to our liking. The king bed was a bit too sensitive to a partner's movements in bed....

'Very quiet, rustic old ranch feel. The facility was clean, staff response to any needs was immediate. The use of the pool at their sister property just a 2 minute drive away made it very enjoyable. '

'Evers House is a beautiful historic home. Our room had high ceilings and original hardwood floors. The bed was super comfortable, the ac worked great, good water pressure in the shower, plenty of towels, quiet and private. We loved the breakfast in the picnic basket by our door every morning, the shady front porch, and hanging out by the fire pit under the big oak tree. Dedicated free parking for guests, 1 block to Main St Fredericksburg, we walked everywhere and rarely needed our car. We would...
