'The bed was very comfortable and bathroom toiletries were exquisite (because of these things I gave an extra star). The room was pleasant, but sparsely furnished. Wish we had a chair to sit in. Window seat looked stylish but was not comfortable. Bartender in the lobby only knew how to make the few specialty drinks the hotel offers. He didn’t know how to change the TV either. 'I don’t mind older hotels and don’t need luxury or fancy stuff but I do like my room clean and that just wasn’t the case here. There were stains on the sheets, the floor was greasy and the bath tub was so worn down I really dreaded taking a shower. We decided not to stay and booked a room across the street; best decision for us. Lady at reception was very friendly though, there sure is potential to make this a nice place to stay but the current state just wasn’t ok for us..'

'My stay at this Marriott hotel was as good as usual , BUT unfortunately i was very disappointed with the fact that housekeeping did NOT do their part. They fumbled the ball and we were not provided the service. Bed not made, bathroom not cleaned, trash not thrown out etc. Was not given a reason why this happened and was not provided with a solution. Very uncharacteristic of a Marriott establishment. Will wait to see if there is a response to this mishap. Im usually a very understanding person...
