'We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this comfortable, pet friendly, updated 19th century farmhouse. The eclectic decor provided for a combination of modern convenience with artifacts from the past. Occasional visits from the full time residents (sheep and chickens) of the property delighted our grandsons when they came for lunch. We will definitely come back.'

'My wife and I stayed here for a week around the time of the eclipse. We had absolutely none of the problems listed in previous reviews. The unit is small--but that is what we expected when we booked a camper. The back yard setting is very peaceful. It's like you are in a quiet, rural location. Amber is a wealth of information about what to do in the Boerne area. Hosts were friendly and pleasant to talk with. We would certainly book this unit again if we returned to Boerne.'

'We were so happy to have this home to stay in while we visited family. A lot of thoughtful planning has been done by the owners to make one's stay pleasant. 3 bath, 3 bedrooms makes it easy to accommodate all sizes of groups. The kitchen is well equipped with all you need to prepare meals. The one request we had was taken care of immediately. We very much liked the location, and while close to Main Street, it was a nice, quiet neighborhood.'

'The Oval was unique in shape as well as decor. You won’t find another like it. We enjoyed the privacy, seclusion, chickens, heated pool, and unwind. Perfect weekend getaway in comfort.'

'Listing was accurate of property, and was chosen for pool and proximity to my daughter and family. Kitchen appliances were well stocked. Owner was very understanding about an item my dog chewed and the glass I broke.'

'Overall the stay was peaceful, enjoyable and the view was so relaxing. We enjoyed our stay here for spring break and being able to visit Boerne, Fredericksburg and San Antonio. My only complaints were no hot water in upstairs bathroom and internet was out majority of the weekend so no TVs were working.'

'The house was nice and the space outdoors was ample. Everyone had their own area which was nice since we had 3 families staying. The distance to downtown is walkable which was great. Only complaints were, the AC was not great and there is no washer and dryer. All in all, we had a great stay. '

'The amazing host was so on top of everything! The communication was top notch. We had our fur babys with us, they are big dogs, and they were ok with that. Our dogs are like our children and very well behaved! We were welcomed with a sweet note on the kitchen counter and treats!!! Yes treats!!! The bedrooms and bathrooms were so clean and it felt like home. It’s a very quiet neighborhood on the outer part of town. We will truly be using this host again next time we come to the area. Thank...
