'This property has absolutely gorgeous views. It has an old world Spanish Mexican mix feel you would not expect in hill country. The main limiting factor is there is not any lunch or dinner options Sunday through Thursday. You would need to drive into town or be very creative with the food supplies you bring with you. '

'We had a very nice spacious ground floor room with king bed and large bathroom (suite 7) in the Carriage House annex. It had a view of the main building's rear. It is a nice heritage building. Towels and shower were good. Breakfast offered freshly made hot items and home-made jam of good quality. Friendly staff. Parking in the quiet street in front of the hotel. Breakfast time between 9 and 10 am, a bit too late to our liking. The king bed was a bit too sensitive to a partner's movements in bed....

'We stayed at this property for our 40th wedding anniversary. The stay exceeded our expectations. Aaron, the very nice gentleman who was managing the property, went out of his way to acquire a few items for my wife that she just mentioned in a casual conversation. That impressed us a LOT! Thanks again Aaron! Breakfast was excellent. We will absolutely stay here again the next time we travel to Galveston. '

'The George Manor is a beautiful 1851 historic home that is well-maintained. The staff are awesome…and the food is professionally prepared and delicious! 'Would have given an excellent rating but our room was tiny. It was very clean but only had one chair which was located in the closet area, no place to really put things to do makeup, hair, etc. No place in bathroom to put things. The grounds and estate were beautiful and well kept. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was delicious. Everything was great except the size of the room. The pics in the ad did not depict a small room. '

'Very quiet, rustic old ranch feel. The facility was clean, staff response to any needs was immediate. The use of the pool at their sister property just a 2 minute drive away made it very enjoyable. '

'Evers House is a beautiful historic home. Our room had high ceilings and original hardwood floors. The bed was super comfortable, the ac worked great, good water pressure in the shower, plenty of towels, quiet and private. We loved the breakfast in the picnic basket by our door every morning, the shady front porch, and hanging out by the fire pit under the big oak tree. 'Casa Farina is absolutely beautiful, the food in the restaurant below is delicious. The vouchers for the breakfast at the nearby cafe were such a treat got us out walking around the square nice and early the food was good. I love love love the charm of the old building I would like to know more history about the Building and the family that owns it. The antiques in the room were so comforting. We both had great sleep in the comfy bed. We will defiantly stay here again.'

'We came here for my birthday staycation, not too far from home. The spa was amazing and overall, the staff was good with the exception of the dinner staff who weren’t as friendly. The dinners were really good though, so it made up for it. The breakfast was delicious as well.
