'Great switch from the normal impersonal hotel chains! Family owned and run property who do everything they can to make your stay an amazing experience. We would absolutely come back here again! '

'Spotless, not much for amenities but they were clear about that. Staff were great about dropping off more towels and one staff member, on her day off, went to the store and bought some clothes hangers as there were none in the unit. I was disappointed with the view. The photo shows a house looking directly at the beach. That is not the house we stayed in. Ours was smaller and behind it. 'The host was great. However, we did not know that the home was a split level. One bedroom and bath on the bottom and the two bedrooms and one bath up on second floor. One had to go outside to get to the bottom bath. Also the door to the bottom facilities was swollen, so we had a difficult time opening and closing the door. The place was clean, but really needs updating and we wish there were some furniture in the bedrooms besides the bed and a night stand. No dressers. No coffee table. ...

'It was ok, few stores in the vicinity, major stores are in downtown Galveston over 15 miles away. No ice maker in the ice box or ice trays. Bare minimum of stuff to make your stay more comfortable. Air conditioning inadequate.I guess you can say it felt cheap. '

'Only issue was the strong winds on Sunday and Monday were so strong that the house swayed and moved and the wind caught spots on the exterior that made the loudest whistling and whining noise that it was nearly impossible to sleep at night. Other than that, it was fine.'

'We had a good time for Christmas with our big family, plenty of space, we had a few issues with stove but got a response right away from host, communication was excellent.Stores and beach right around the corner Bring plenty of repellent, other than that I recommend this place '

'What a great place for my family to get together. Had everything that we needed to rest and relax. Out host had thought of everything and every question was answered prior to our arrival. Great places lead to great times!'
