'On-site restaurant nice. Electric kettle and tea/coffee in the room nice. However, when electric kettle was heating, room lights would dim and flicker.'

'Very well maintained property and helpful, friendly staff.'

'The staff were so accommodating and helpful! Very friendly! Breakfast was delicious! Close to the Main Street and other places to visit. Very quaint!'

'Een andere hotel dan we normaliter nemen en zeker niet standaard. Het is ten slotte een lodge en die uitstraling heeft het ook met vriendelijk personeel. Het meubilair past bij een lodge stijl maar is wat gedateerd maar verder prima. Alles past zeker bij een omgeving voor wandelen en skiën.'

'Patti led the excellent 1.5 hour tour of the outdoor Von Trapp Family cemetery and shared the indoor video of Maria ‘s touching story in her own words. The grounds, interior and warm welcome transport one to Austria.'

'Mooi en verzorgd hotel. Bij mooi weer heerlijk aan het zwembad. Zou zo weer terug gaan. '

'We checked at 3:40 after a 5 hour car ride. Mason was welcoming and gave us a nice orientation to the grounds (including equipment available to play basketball, pickle ball or tennis in the large area behind the inn). There are Arctic hot tubs, a community walking/bike path (bikes and helmets available), the pool was closed for the season. Our favorite feature was the delicious onion soup served in the lodge with cheese & crackers between 4-6! We also walked the grounds and enjoyed the...

'We wish we were here longer than 1 night! Everything looks beautiful and was very clean. It had a very cozy cabin vibe, even though the hotel was quite big. Restaurant across the street was great as well!'

'Main building is restored Vermont-style. Looks really nice and includes a good restaurant (good menu, friendly staff, reasonable prices). Motelrooms are clean and spacious from the inside and - we guess - are getting an exterior update. '

'The room was clean and chic'

'The staff was lovely and the property is beautiful. Our room was ok. The location of the room was great (we were at the end) but the room itself was not very clean. It had damage and it def needs a little face lift. Loved the cute bar and staff. Just felt for what we paid it should have been nicer. Stowe is beautiful and the hotel is in a great location.'

'Property was okay. Helpful staff. But our room was old. Why coffee pot in bathroom..seems unsanitary?'

'Leuke omgeving. Mooie rivier achter de kamers. Faciliteiten en kamer teleurstellend. Slecht onderhouden zwembad en vieze hottub. Kamer stonk enorm. Foto’s deden geen recht aan de staat van het hotel. Ook ontbijt was teleurstellend . Oud brood en weinig anders dan yoghurt . Geen aanrader als je langer dan 1 nacht wil blijven'

'The location was perfect. The kitchen and table in the room were very handy!'

'Don't feel the price matched the amenities. There at least could've been a microwave in the room. We were having meals in our room as we traveled and it was not convenient to go to lobby to use the one there. No hairdryer or coffee maker in room either. No breakfast. We didn't use the pool or hot tubs so can't comment on those but otherwise we felt the place was dated. We traveled for 3 weeks and this was our least favorite but highest priced place we stayed. I assume comparison to the cost of...

'We travel a quite a bit and always try to find unique lodging, so weve stayed in a few cabins over the years...this was by far our favorite. Each cabin felt private. We enjoyed sitting on the covered deck in Adirondack chairs while it was raining (and even saw a couple deer pass thru). Made coffee in the morning then talking it down to walk around the pond at sunrise was majestic. It was cold and rainy, so we grabbed a couple games from the game room to play in the evening. Can't say we...
