'Far enough out of the main town, it was quiet and even a bit wilderness-like. We rented a room (not cabin) but it felt like a cabin (except for a shared wall.) Wooden walls and ceiling, gave it a rustic feel but for us, the bed was the main attraction. Firm but cushiony, the mattress was supportive in all the right ways with soft pillows with just enough support to keep your head and neck in alignment. We slept like logs. The heating system was accurate and so quiet I had to feel for air...

'The Timbers Inn was wonderful! We stayed two nights while in town to tour U of O and just loved it. The room was so nice and obviously recently remodeled, the breakfast was fantastic and everyone that worked there was very friendly. I will definitely stay here again the next time I'm back! '

'Very clean, price was excellent, staff was very nice & friendly.... Only thing that prevented me from giving 5 stars for the property & facility was the drain hole in the shower and the bathroom lights. Drain hole - no cover on the drain and if it was there I wouldn't have seen how old the plumbing was (or looked like it was). Lights - I turned on the two light switches inside the bathroom it turned on the fan & that red heat light thing (whatever that is called), no light. I thought to myself,...

'I loved the quietness and the politeness of all the staff that works for you, the lady that cleans our rooms was nice enough to ask if I needed anything at all, and I told her what I needed. The grounds are emasculate and beautiful. My room was perfect and the breakfast and restaurants nearby were great, especially the Track Pizza. So thank you '
