'De locatie ligt iets buiten het centrum ( 5 min met de auto). Goed voor n stopper. Jammer dat er geen stoelen op het terras of aan de rivier stonden. Aanrader is het restaurant Lucia in het centrum.'

'My stay was excellent. My room was on the 2nd floor right side, next to the window...big enough for a family of 3. This was a solo/business trip for me and the room has an excellent dining room and meeting/living room with a very nice view if you love green. I slept like a baby. Breakfast was fantastic-freakin-tastic--drop a $20 on the table for the fam. Will stay there whenever I go back up th Limerock Park. The drive to and from Limerock is a dream if u know what u doin...and ya gotta go to...

'Beautiful, beautiful hotel and outstanding customer service and attention to detail. Not only was my room designed impeccably and clean, but there were free waters, snacks and freshly baked cookies available upon arrival. Their breakfast was outstanding (and free) and they had coffee, beverages and snacks available at all times of day - something almost all other hotels will charge you for. 'The service was amazing.. I was sitting in the lobby and a worker walked by and asked if I wanted coffee or tea. We were there for a wedding and everything was wonderful. The only negative comment would be some rooms could use an upgrade. '

'Loved our stay at the historic Court House, beautifully restored as the Abner Inn. Service was excellent, dinner was equally fantastic, service was super. Staying in the beautiful village of Litchfield is always a special treat for my wife and I as we love stopping in the Village Pub for a drink and to taking a drive to Lake Waramaug and the beautiful New Preston village. We will be back to the Abner in a few weeks!'

'We camped at Freedom Farm and enjoyed the secluded woods setting for our tent. Everything was clean and well prepared for our stay, and the hosts were friendly and helpful. It is beautifully situated and is a short drive from some excellent hiking and biking in nearby state parks. I think a couple of things, though, could be improved. The tent was set up on an incline, which made sleeping a bit less comfortable than it might have been. I would recommend that the hosts build a level platform...

'A charming old manor from the Gilded Age, thoughtfully updated and modernized without losing the soul of the original home. Incredibly comfortable rooms, inviting common spaces, excellent breakfast, beautiful grounds, and friendly staff. We especially enjoyed the fireplace in our room. Perfect for a romantic getaway, we look forward to visiting again in the future.'
