'Quick overnight for a friend’s birthday. House is brand new. The pictures on the listing do not do it justice. Very nice. Great location, close to shopping and the tap house on the lake. The house is for sale so may not be available for long. Better pictures on Zillow. If it fits your needs, I recommend it.'

'We had a wedding at a local winery and this was the perfect venue for our group. Had a great time. The host was incredibly accommodating and was flexible with check in so we could have time to get ready. Only thing is the ladies wished there was a full length mirror for getting ready. Otherwise no complaints. '

'This house had everything you could ask for and more!We rented it to celebrate my daughter’s 40th birthday and it was perfect. The house and decks were immaculate. There was so much to do. We paid to have the pool heated and it was enjoyed by all.We couldn’t have asked for a better experience!'

'We loved our stay at Fern Cottage! We stayed-my husband and I, along with our five children. Everything was clean, there was room for everyone, a great set up downstairs for the kids to play in, and the fire pit was a fun feature to use at night. The only suggestion I would make is to add more pans, mixing bowls and utensils -such as an ice cream scoop ! We would absolutely recommend this place and be eager to stay here again if we are in the area! Thank you, Holly!'

'Our stay at Private Cove was amazing! We loved the home’s layout which included a first floor master suite and great office space for those of us who had to work during our stay. The home was very clean and comfortable. Lake Anna is a beautiful lake and the family enjoyed swimming, kayaking and fishing off the dock. The host did a great job communicating and responding to our questions or concerns. We would definitely recommend Private Cove if you’re looking for that perfect spot on Lake Anna. '

'This is a lovely property. The owner was very nice, and definitely wanted us to have everything we needed. The neighborhood was first class, and close to anything that you could ever want to eat, or to shop.'

'It was a pleasant experience. The whole concept of the Ridge is a great idea. The atmosphere was very peacefully. I was traveling alone and was a little concerned at times. The other door that doesn’t lock was quite concerning. The water pressure and Wi-Fi were the only bad things I can say but in the scheme of things, compared to 1850 it was luxurious. I would stay again but not alone.'

'The house was dirty. Light fixtures were hanging on the ceiling barely. Each room had combination locks on them. Some were locked others open. The host didn't respond to messages during our stay. We couldn't find another place in the area to stay. So we made the best of it and left the place much cleaner than we found it. "I love the TRU by Hilton chain! The hotels are fresh and looking modern and young. They’re clean and are also focused on younger people who do remote working. I always book a hotel from that chain and the one in Ashland was no exception. Breakfast is typically US, so not the best but super bad either."
