'Reserva Amazonica is a beautiful property located 40mins by bost from Puerto Maldonado. We spent 2 nights there and generally had a good experience. The lodges are beautiful, clean and well equipped and staff is really nice and attentive. The nature surrounding the hotel is beautiful and there are some small animals / birds that can be found on property. The included excursions are interesting (we mostly enjoyed the canopy walk and lake Sandoval). Unfortunately, we were there during a cold spell...

'Hotel was nice! Close to the river, convenient place. The service was great. However, the room was not good. Although we asked for non- smoking the room smelled like cigarettes. Also, it seemed the room was recently u der constructions and there were some things out of place. Tv was not working at first and it was replaced.'

'Bom atendimento pelo staff, quarto limpo com boa roupa de cama. Banheiro ok com bom chuveiro. O café da manhã foi bom, de acordo com a região. Comparado com Cusco, Aguas Callientes e Puno, foi o hotel mais caro da viagem. Não recebia em cartão, somente dinheiro.'

'Our experience was amazing! This was an experience that I have always dreamed about. The guides for the excursions were the best. They were so knowledgeable and friendly. I will never forget all the beautiful sounds that you wake up to in the rainforest. The lodge was very eco friendly and the rooms were very clean. The rooms only have three walls so it is normal to find an insect here and there. I will definitely be returning. '

'My wife and I had an amazing time. We really loved it! Sandra and her team did everything they could to make our stay comfortable. We were fed well and the food was amazing! They really care about the rainforest and work with a local wildlife rescue that rescues animal and rehabilitates them to go back into the wild. When you stay here, you help them with their mission to protect the Amazon rainforest. Alejandro was an amazing guide and has a great eye for spotting wildlife. Definitely...

'Eine lauschige Sitzgruppe in gepflegtem Grün - so zeigt es das Aufmacherfoto. Die Realität: Ein trostlose Zimmer, zwei Betten, ein Stuhl, nur kaltes Wasser und Licht im Bad funktioniert nicht. Die 24-Stunden-Rezeption war im 19.30 nicht besetzt, sodass wir durchs Fenster einsteigen musste. Die inzwischen schrottreife Sitzgruppe war von den Hühnern im Garten als Toilette genutzt, der Hahn weckte pünktlich um 4.00 Uhr.
