'Hello, we are a family of 4 from South America. We stayed at the Piccolina Vacation Home and it was excellent. Very nice place with nice kitchen and bathroom. Nearby there is a little Piazza to get a coffee, pizza and to do laundry. Also, very friendly neighbors and a supermarket nearby. There is a bus stop just a couple minutes away that takes you straight to downtown to see the Sassi. Great place!'

'Tutto fantastico! Le villette sono bellissime,la famiglia Selvaggi è veramente accogliente . In particolare ringrazio il Signor Felice che con la sua pazienza e disponibilità ha reso il nostro soggiorno fantastico Lo consiglio sia per la vicinanza a Matera, sia per rilassarsi in spiaggia o esplorare zone vicine! Ottimo ristorante in loco, comodità per il parcheggio e struttura con numerosi confort per famiglie Grazie ancora!'

'Het huisje was prima. De gastvrouw was erg vriendelijk. De zee is 2 km verder op. Maar er is verder niets in de buurt, geen restaurants, geen supermarkten.'

'L'appartamento era ben locato, in quanto consentiva di esplorare la città vecchia ma allo stesso tempo non era lontano dalla città nuova dove avevamo parcheggiato l'auto. L'annuncio era leggermente fuorviante, in quanto il terrazzino che si vede nelle foto si trova in un'altra proprietà, al piano superiore,ove un'altra coppia ero ospitata. "Our stay at Masseria Santa Lucia was okay. The accommodation itself is very nice. We booked the Deluxe Suite and were amazed by how nicely newly decorated it was, with high ceilings, lovely bathroom with luxurious shower and comfortable bed. The swimming pool looks equally stunning with modern beach chairs. However, that experience got overshadowed a bit by the unfriendly welcome. The lady who welcomed us was clearly not in the mood to give her guests a warm welcome. That’s a pity for the quite high price we paid. The rest of the staff was nicer, yet not to the level of other accommodations we booked for our Italian trip and where we paid much less. Furthermore, I asked two times in advance via the booking platform how I could book the guided Matera tour they mention in their services, but didn’t got any response, although they contacted me via the same way for check-in. The breakfast is served in the patio, which is a nice spot, yet very warm the moment we were there (mid August), making us feel very sweaty already from the breakfast on. Last but not least, the hotel is situated somewhat in the middle of an industrial area, which doesn’t add to a warm, welcoming atmosphere. Luckily we had a car, which resulted in easily being able to visit Matera, otherwise a taxi would be needed, I think, since we didn’t see any dining options in the hotel itself."
