'Hotel and room were clean. Some scuff marks on corridor paintwork and doors. Other guest were noisy and a lot of traffic noise if you leave the window open. Breakfast good choice but hot meal a little cold and my sausages were undercooked. However plenty of choice. Staff seemed a little disorganized but we're pleasant and helpful. Parking was good at £4 per day. Location excellent to AI and M62 so easy access when leaving. Short taxi ride into town and fairs excellent.'

'good staff and restaurant. rooms can use a refurb. toilet would not flush, fixed myself.'

'Excellent equipped and clean room, highly recommended'

'The food is good and the staff were cordial. Generally the facilities are quite good.'

'There was less comfort in the room. Examples: 1. Window could not be opened (broken rope), 2. carpet worn out, 3. iron not performing optimally, 4. doorlock from inside not stable, 5. shower equipment not properly tightened, 6. too much noise at ceiling level from other guests, 7. wifi signal too weak in the room, 8. room not properly cleaned when arriving.'

'We stayed in a suite on the 5 floor very clean h as d everything required staff on reception very helpful breakfast was a bit disorganised but satisfactory managed to park on the road with a blue badge for free'

'Good hotel and excellent breakfast. Rooms are well equipped, clean, and very spacious. We had one point of attention for management : please clean the windows. One thi'

'Firstly, the hotel, staff and amenities are really good. The reason for my low score was the noise from the weddings. It was unbearable. I was in Wakefield on a business trip. I received an email a couple of days before to say there would be a wedding on the first night of my stay. When I arrived I was told that there was going to be a wedding on both days. The wedding marquee was right outside my window. It was so loud that I couldn’t even hear the tv which was a metre or so away from me....
