'A quick trip after a camping trip was canceled do to a truck mechanical issue. Found this gem on the lake and we able to have a nice relaxing time. Every thing we needed was there. Grilled, fished even caught at 16 inch bass. Shopped in Nashville and explored the area. '

'The view is amazing! We caught so many fish and enjoyed other wildlife that the area had to offer. I was especially impressed with the amenities! Extra towels, on site washer/dryer, fire pit, plenty of throw blankets and extra linen...we've stayed in places with far less that cost far more. The hot tub was an added bonus that we enjoyed each evening. Only issue was inability to always get wireless internet, which interfered with television access, but there was so much to see and do, it wasn't...

'We were in town for the Indy 500. This was convenient to the airport/ shuttles to IMS. Only about 30 minutes! The cabin was quiet and comfortable, including the beds. The neighbors were nice. It has all the modern amenities needed and a nice view of the lake. We stayed over Memorial Weekend and listened to eagles, ducks, geese and watched the fish jump. We had 3 teenagers and 2 adults. '

'We loved our stay and how quiet it was. Bed wasn’t that comfortable (hard mattress) and we found some trash and a shirt that looked like someone used for private time under a mattress (we disposed of it). But overall it was very homey feeling and we most likely will go again but use an air mattress. We did like they had out houses and there where lights so if you had to go to the bathroom at night you could see where your going and around you. To shower at the bathhouse you have to pay for it. ...

'We booked a last minute family trip with our 5yo twins and 12yo son. The kids LOVED the rustic cabin and argued who was going to sleep on the top bunk. The bunk beds are actually 2 full sized beds. We took the kids horse back trail riding at "Grandpa Jeff's Trail Rides" which was very reasonably priced and only 10min from the cabin. The kids LOVED fishing from the dock in the evenings and roasting marshmallows by the fire. It was a very relaxing 3 night stay. Highly recommend!!'

'We went in late April and it was soooo quiet at the resort. We stayed at cabin #5 (Aikens I believe). The description implies there is a toilet but I believe that's meant to describe the accessibility of the bath house just steps away. (which was clean and well maintained) The bed was surprisingly comfy (and smartly covered in a vinyl material). The cabin was adorable and simple.'
