'upgraded to a suite beach house sandsend excellent thank you.the brasserie food we thought was overpriced for instance we had chicken kyffs compared to a meal deal from m and s at £15 for the same meal which also included veg and a sweet.the staff were very helpful and friendly.'

'Our 2 day stay at the hotel was good .was very clean and staff very nice . We didn't eat there so can't comment on food it's in a great location everything within walking distance . The only downside was having to pay £36 for 2 nights parking within the hotel grounds
A paying customer shouldn't be billed for this and I only found out about this the day before we arrived .'

'We had a lovely holiday at the Postgate Nook. It is a cozy house, tastefully decorated. The kitchen is complete. The wood stove provided warmth and extra atmosphere on cool days, although the temperature inside was always pleasant.
The terrace offered a beautiful view of the valley and beautiful garden.
Mark and Moya are very friendly and helpful. Nice people. Are always available. They make every effort to make your stay more pleasant and also respect your privacy.

'Great hotel in nice manor. The house itself is very well preserved notwithstanding the modern extensions and the modernisation of the interior. Great space rooms and good facilities like a pleasant swinging pool. We did eat in York before our arrival but the restaurant seems good, the breakfast there was excellent. Good place to stay when visiting York.'

'Excellent service, couldn't have been more helpful.
Room was nice, clean but a bit small...if I'd had a big suitcase not sure if it would have fit.
