'Brasserie lovely and food great, location great and really smart.
Unfortunately we felt underwhelmed for the price we paid, prices are similar to that of rudding park and sadly it just doesn’t match.
We were waiting over an hour for food in the pizzeria, which seemed to prioritise takeaway orders and then I was ill in the night.

'We had a lovely holiday at the Postgate Nook. It is a cozy house, tastefully decorated. The kitchen is complete. The wood stove provided warmth and extra atmosphere on cool days, although the temperature inside was always pleasant.
The terrace offered a beautiful view of the valley and beautiful garden.
Mark and Moya are very friendly and helpful. Nice people. Are always available. They make every effort to make your stay more pleasant and also respect your privacy.

'Great hotel in nice manor. The house itself is very well preserved notwithstanding the modern extensions and the modernisation of the interior. Great space rooms and good facilities like a pleasant swinging pool. We did eat in York before our arrival but the restaurant seems good, the breakfast there was excellent. Good place to stay when visiting York.'

'Excellent service, couldn't have been more helpful.
Room was nice, clean but a bit small...if I'd had a big suitcase not sure if it would have fit.
