'We received a very warm welcome and staff were friendly and attentive throughout our stay. Food was plentiful and a good variety. We were given were given a hearty breakfast. Couple of minor things easily remedied, window plunder in the room was damaged & ash window would not stay open. The shower head badly leaked and just needs a new seal. 'We stayed at the Rose & Crown for an overnight stop, on our way back to Bristol from a weeks holiday in Scotland. The hotel has been there since 1455, lots of history, we found it to be a very cosy and quaint. Real wood fires making the snug cosy and warm.
