'We had a very relaxing weekend in Curlew lodge. The lodge had everything you need with some added luxury welcome pack. Location excellent and only half an hours drive from Scarborough. Warm welcome from the management team and the lodge was spotless.'

'Property was spacious, comfortable and warm. Location was ideal, with local attractions, shops, restaurants and great walks very close by. Kitchen was well equipped. Second sitting room was great for teenagers. WIFI excellent. Some minor maintenance needed, e.g. dishwasher rack, smell in one bathroom, and refreshing of the chipped/mis-matched crockery and glasses. Providing tea towels in the kitchen and an extra bin bag or two would be helpful.'

'Beautiful setting, Lodge was perfect with all you needed and more. Fantastic location to surrounding places like Whitby and Dalby Forest. We re-grouped as a busy family even Inc our dogs! Wonderful stay just a shame we couldn't have had longer! Thank you.'

'Fantastic accommodation that provides everything you need for a girls weekend away. Beautifully furnished (Hamptons feel) with perfect entertaining space inside and out. Hot tub was a great addition to use day and evening. Lots of comfy seating to relax on for the 6 of us. Surrounding area is beautiful to visit and for walks. Would highly recommend. We had a wonderful weekend.'

'Excellent, the lodge was beautiful, really clean, really good location in a quiet area and they are private too. The only thing I’d say is a robe or extra towels would be good for the hot tub, otherwise it was perfect.'

'Excellent location just off the high street in a great little village. Short distance to lovely walks, waterfalls and pubs. House itself was overall great although could do with internal access to the lower rooms. Views from the house were beautiful. We were a large family of 16 ages 5-85 and there was plenty of room for all. We had a fantastic weekend. Some elements of the house were a little rough round the edges - grass hasn’t been cut, some minor cleanliness issues but nothing that would...
