'The hotel, by Toronto standards, would be just average, but for Yellowknife it's one of the best hotels around. Super friendly staff. Room was clean and bed comfortable.conveniently located within walking distance of anything you might want to see in the city. Frame Lake trail is a short walk from the hotel entrance. Great 5.5 km hike around the lake.'

'The rooms seem to have been renovated relatively recently. New wall paper, carpet in good condition, new vanity and lights in bathroom, clean shower. Hallway carpet isn't new though. Portable AC in the room is appreciated, but noisy so turn it on when you're away so that when you return you can turn it off at a comfortable temperature. Some of the furniture is a bit old but it works fine. The tv is small by today standards but cable channels are clear and plentiful. Parking in front is limited...

'We spend 3 nights in this hotel. Wasnt to bad actually. Only problem we found was no airco in the room, only a fan. But lets face it... How many really hot days you get? We just had a couple of hot days and a room facing south... Location of hotel is pretty convenient to rest of town and there is also a shuttle running from the airport. If you want to explore more of Yellowknife we do suggest to use a car'

'To find a hotel with good facilities so far up north was a challenge, and im very pleased to have stayed here. I understand running such a business is tough and i see them making improvements. Overall it was the staff that made this stay absolutely amazing. Checking is in late, helped with our luggage and offered after hours snacks. Ofcourse they know people travel long distances to get to Inuvik, so they made sure our stay was comfortable. We sure will stay here on our next Arctic trip!'
