'Nasty. The room smells cigarettes and it's smoking free room. I will never stay there. The price is not wroth for the room. The parking is dark.'

Wall paint peeling and dropping. Toilet backed up after first use, called front desk. Said maintenance man would come, but they never sent anyone to fix. No plunger in room, took back off toilet and manually moved to get some to go down, bowl would not drain. Was able to keep from flowing over but all use...

'Wow, this rural neighborhood, mountainside stay was perfect. Completely handicap accessible. Like new. Impeccably clean, roomy, comfy beds. Outside was also clean and usable. Plenty of pillows and blankets, a well-supplied kitchen with plenty dishes, cups, glasses, spices, cooking utensils and supplies. Never had to leave for toilet paper or washer supplies or anything. This was paramount for us in our almost week-long stay. Our host was prompt and kind. We will stay here again. '

'What a unique experience getting to stay at this old country store. I admire the owner's desire to preserve a part of history. The property was exceptionally clean, well-supplied and I had a wonderful stay. If I need overnight accommodations in the area, I'll definitely try to stay here again.'

'Beautiful views. Didn’t see any bears lol. We arrived after dark and had some trouble figuring out how to get in but the host was quick to respond. Make sure you know 2nd bathroom is in detached building outside. I missed that in the description. It was a nice place to stay really comfortable beds. Host set up play area at the bottom which was nice for the kids. Porch has a swing for relaxing. Veranda was where I spent a lot of time. I love the rocking chairs. Very peaceful.'

The owner was also very flexible in extending our check out time by a little bit since the checkout time was 10 and we had a funeral at 1, leaving us with 3 hours of downtime. We were all very appreciative and would leave a higher review if possible!'
