I gave 5 stars to communication with the host, but I gave 5 stars because I didn't have a need to communicate with him. Some minor repairs are needed, but other guests mentioned them so I did not feel I had to communicate them as well. I actually prefer the no contact check in because my dog does not care for...

'Beautiful place right on the river.'

'Laurel cabin was perfect for our stay. my dogs loved sitting outside along the river. The scenery was gorgeous, The accommodations were clean & adequate. The owners very helpful. I will probably choose to stay in Hemlock or Sycamore next time because of no stairs. Definetly plan to stay next year'

'Great, short stay at Mike's place. Cabin was cozy and had great amenities. Host communication was prompt and efficient. Would highly recommend.Two downsides:#1 - we couldn't stay longer!#2 - dogs across the street are kind of noisy...but that's not on Mike, just the nature of dogs.'

The personal touches and amenities offered by Diana and Mark made us feel at home and afforded us the rest and relaxation we desired. 'This is a spacious home, with a beautiful front room that faces a pond. It's in a very relaxing location. Furniture is minimalist, could use an extra chair. On this trip, my sisters and I spent 3 days there and went to Barter theater to watch "Frozen." My nephew enjoyed the fishing. Great place, great show. I would recommend this place to anyone looking to relax.'

'We drove up to Johnson City for orientation at ETSU and stayed one night. Very cute and clean place with comfortable beds!! Less than 10 min drive to ETSU. We plan to stay again when visiting our daughter at school. We absolutely loved Johnson City area! Thanks for letting us stay '

'The cottage was peaceful and a perfect place to send my parents to relax. The check in process was a bit odd, the cottages are not clearly marked, they had to guess which cabin was theirs and try their code. Otherwise, this place was perfect. Cozy, clean, and the hosts were quick in response and great hosts! '

'Ms. Regina touched base a day ahead about check in which made the day of our arrival super easy. Everything about the house suited our needs from sleeping accommodations to kitchen supplies to hang out space for chit chats and board games. If your vacationing with someone whose experience is enhanced by the curb appeal (inside and out) this house is perfect- my sister is an artist and we were there to celebrate her 40th birthday and the house and all the interest of it meant a lot to her. 'This is a really nice house. My friends and I stayed here for a weekend as home base for the Speedway Classic since most places in Bristol were booked, and it provided a great place to do so. Very close to a grocery store and local restaurants. The backyard is also very nice!'
