'The cottage is nice and communication was good. The town of Damascus is very small, so be mindful that theres not any food/stores open late. Overall, I stayed at the house while attending the race in Bristol. The cottage took about 40 minutes to get to, including traffic from Bristol Motor speedway. '

'It was ideal for me, quiet, peaceful and beautiful. Many outdoor spaces to enjoy. As remote as it felt, ir was an easy drive to resupply and some good hiking trails. The house had quality furnishings and just felt like a sturdy build. This was the simplest check-in/out I’ve ever experienced. Highly recommend this place. '

'Yes, it was a little out of the ordinary, but that's a good thing! Easiest "camping" experience you'll ever have. Your own private (new, flush) commode, kitchen, and huge shower! A/c and heat in the camper. What more could you want? Definitely an adventure in the hills of eastern Virginia.'

'The property and accommodations were better than expected. The home was beautiful, clean with all the amenities needed. It sits on a flowing river surrounded by wildlife. Every day we would see an abundance of deer and birds. My boys loved the pool table and played every night. They also enjoyed riding bikes and playing ping pong.
