'The rooms were very basic, the walls very thin. TV was small with a grainy picture. They lock the hotel at midnight and I had to beat on the door for 30 minutes to get into the building after a wedding.'

'De Sray Beach Inn is een typisch Amerikaanse Hote/Motel maar wel gelegen aan de strand van Long Beach Island in New Jersey. Het gebouw heeft zijn tijd gehad. De ventilator in de kamers hangt zo laag dat het aanraken hiervan makkelijk kan plaatsvinden. Het restaurant is matig. Voor een strand vakantie is het hotel ideaal. Ligt aan het strand.'

'Parking on site. Room was cozy, TV had Tubi, HDMI, good selection of things to watch! Tiny bathroom but plenty soap bars and products. Shower made loud noise but then stopped and water pressure was good / temperature was good. AC was nice. Microwave did not work properly and stopped every ten seconds. Overall clean and cozy, really enjoyed the bed. Would definitely stay again. Front desk was extremely accommodating and a pleasure! Made me a delicious cappuccino and an authentic Egyptian pastry...

'The room was clean and comfortable. The mini fridge, microwave and table with 2 chairs are good accommodations to have a casual meal or snack and avoid the need to eat out. The staff was friendly and helpful. I received an upgrade to my room on the day I checked in since it was off season and there were open rooms. Definitely recommend this place for a relaxing stay so close to the beach.'

'Dirty place. Smelled like pot. Outlets in the room where hungging from the wall. Beds felt like sleeping in plywood and had metal box frame that made so much noise. The only good thing was that was not carpet in the room. Also the curtain rod in the bathroom was falling off etc etc etc'

'When I went to the establishment the building was closed for the season a employee met me with keys and explained they tried to get in touch with me through Expedia , which I did not see a message saying they were closed , only saying about road construction in front of the building The women said I could have the keys to the hotel and stay alone without any staff there , my daughter and I were not comfortable with the situation ,and explained to me she had another hotel down the road that...

'The 2 bedroom house was great. I have to be honest at 1st i thought it was a little sketchy, since i booked through 1 motel and when i called to confirm they couldn't find my reservation at 1st but eventually did. Then i was told i had to check in at a different motel to get the key to the house. 'We kregen na een heel hartelijk ontvangst een upgrade naar een kein appartementen met keuken met uitzicht op het zwembad. 10 minuten lopen naar het strand. Supermarkt en restaurants in de buurt. Prima!'

'The Lamplight, as always, was spotless and well-maintained. The location can’t be beat- a block from the beach and super close to restaurants, shops and bars. My only wish is that each room would be supplied with its own Keurig. One of the treats of staying in a motel is waking up and having a coffee in your bedroom before you even get dressed. While coffee is available at the motel, I’d be happier not having to go outside and sometimes downstairs to get my morning caffeine fix!'
