'The house is adorable and the beds were actually comfortable. Very clean and close to everything. The AC units definitely kept it cool enough to where you can actually turn it off at night and have the fans circulate the air. The kitchen and dining table are surrounded by windows so if you want that sun shining through while you eat breakfast, this is the place to be. Also Angela was very accommodating when it came to parking and ensuring the guest had a parking pass for their stay. Loved...

'The Overlook Cottage was an AMAZING vacation stay, with stunning views from both decks - which TRULY ROCKED because when the sun was beating down on one, i went to the other which was in the shade, and vice versa!!! Gary was extremely kind and communicative! Neighbors who live around the compound permanently were SO WONDERFUL ‼‼ I could live there permanently with these people who were TRUE Jersey Shore gems‼‼‼i have ALWAYS LOVED the Highlands, and being RIGHT ON THE WATER in this family owned...

'Just wrapped up 2 week stay. The cottage was perfect for me as a solo traveler. Dawn and Kevin were great hosts and, honestly, made me feel like I was a close friend or relative staying at their place. They provide everything you could want or need so stop at the cottage first before doing your first shopping. Great location and fun little town. I didn’t need a car the entire time. Hope to be back! 'Nice home with all the amenities. The home was very clean, but the living room was much smaller than I expected, the beds upstairs had plastic mattress covers on them and were hot and uncomfortable to the ladies that stayed in those rooms. The water and the bathroom showers was really hot and had to turn it down quite far to be comfortable. The stairs are quite narrow and not easy to carry luggage up and down the stairs. The backyard grass was high and had not been mowed so we didn’t use that...

'The property manager was great. ABringing linens (on plane) was not ideal and the shower was tiny (only negatives). Location was perfect. The parking pass situation worked out great. Overall would definitely go again at same location. '
