'I had high expectations because this property was rated by someone as “wonderful”. But here are a few things that weren’t quite so wonderful. The noise level: the walls were very thin, the air conditioner was crazy loud, and there’s a train track 100 yards away that the train came through on every night - a couple times a night - and honked his horn the whole way through town. 'Property not ready for guests. The oven and stove did not work. None of the outlets in the kitchen area worked. TVs in main room didn’t work. Lights in main room didn’t work. Refrigerator was filled with dozens of grapefruit, per hostess, had been in there for weeks, thus the smell. The air conditioner in the main living area didn’t work, so the host brought in a big portal air unit that had to sit in the middle of the living room. 'Great place to stay! Stayed while visiting relatives for Thanksgiving. Spacious, bathrooms with each bedroom. Plenty of linens and extra supplies including a great selection of Keurig coffee pods. We stopped at the Rocking Bear cafe which we really enjoyed. '

'Waycross HouseCheck-in was fine but there are a lot of things we had to go buy to make the house livable for the week. We bought pots and pans because the pots here are really old and distorted. One of the rooms has no closet, one room with a closet has no rod, and the one room with a rod, the wooden rod is not strong enough to handle all of our clothes. We were here for a church convention so we had lots of clothes for day services and night services. We also had to buy a full ironing board...
