'The only complaint that I have is that the room had a smell and the refrigerator smelled bad'

'The hotel was overall clean and in well maintained condition. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Downsides: TV stations did not work and I assume it was a related to the satellite as they use dish network. Loud music above us all night into the morning, was a bit annoying.'

'I loved the pool even though I didn’t wake in time to use it but the convenience of getting to the other hotel/casinos and to the riverfront were a wonderful plus and will be returning!'

'The house, built 1870, would be a dream for children: candy, cookies, chocolate, muffins, candybars e v e r y w h e r e !! Inside it has an extensive collection of all kind of odds and ends, which makes the house so cozy! We stayed in the governer's room, a big room with a comfortable king bed. You must not count on (daily) cleaning and making the bed, because both jobs won't happen. That was a bit disappointing, because we stayed for four nights and had expected that to happen. 'My room was 111. It was not well clean, it smelled like urine by one of the beds, also, the was mice droppings in one of the beds. The area where the AC is located, the base is coming off and there are ants. The floor carpet was dirty as well. Staff is nice and helpful.'

'The pool was closed even though it shows it to be open. The breakfast didn't have a lot of options and it's advertised as a Continental breakfast. Otherwise the room was comfy and air conditioner worked great with this heat. Staff were helpful and were always cleaning and busy.'
