'Me and my family loved the hotel, the room was super clean, super spacious, front desk super kind, we wish we stayed there longer. The location was perfect. We a really love everything about the hotel, I will recommend this place to everyone, you won’t regret it!'

'Good location with lots of dining options and right off the highway. Otherwise the trash took a long time to be maintained on the outside, toilet wasn’t cleaned, door didn’t lock due to humidity, and paint chipping on the wall. Sadly wouldn’t stay again.'

'The home was very clean. The kitchen had all the cookware and extras that we could have needed. No limitation on cook tools, utensils, bedding. The bed was a nice firm bed. The back yard was very pretty, the Peonies were in bloom. Thanks to the fence it was a great place for our dogs to run around in. As in all lush environments around water, there were a few sprigs of poison ivy on the fence line and the wood pile, but they were easily covered with a piece of firewood.'

'My husband and I came to Abingdon to see the town and ride the creeper trail. We are so glad we chose this place! The check in process was easy and communication with the owner Regina was easy as well. I love historic places and this house was so cool to explore. She had it decorated so cute and with all the comforts of home. The bed was as comfortable as my bed at home! It’s obvious that Regina put a lot of thought into making this place comfortable and welcoming and I can’t forget to mention...

'The cabin was cozy, peaceful, and a nice place to get away from the usual hustle and bustle. The surroundings were beautiful, and it was great to have a quiet space to relax and enjoy nature. The cabin itself was comfortable and had a charming atmosphere.One downside was that there was no TV, which may not matter to everyone, but it would have been nice to have an option for entertainment in the evenings. Overall, it was a pleasant stay and a good choice for anyone looking for a quiet getaway,...

'This is a great place to stay if you are spending any time around Mendota. Vickie, the host, is a very accommodating and thoughtfully detailed person who thinks about all kinds of situations that a guest could want or need. The home is spacious and very clean. This is definitely a 5 star host. We will be back.'

'We visit the area frequently to be with family who love near by, enjoy the beautiful scenery (mountain and river), and get away from hectic city life. Iola Farms has become our go to location. It is amazingly peaceful and we never leave without wishing we could stay just a little bit longer. This June trip we took our two dogs and my husband’s parents. All four loved it! And all four were very interested in the cattle…..from a distance. We enjoyed morning porch sitting in the cool mountain...
