'Clean room and helpful staff with a great view'

'Downside, pool gates didn’t unlock with the keys. Otherwise, everything else was great. Breakfast, courtyard, pool… no concerns.'

'Small but very comfortable and well equipped cabin. Everything you need is there, and the destination fee includes snacks, coffee and water, and 3 bundles of fire wood a day. We loved the fire pit! '

'The night staff was so nice to us. We got in super late and we had to wake him up but he was so kind. We only stayed for 3 hours, just to rest before the ferry but he was so kind to us. It's a lovely hotel.'

'Let's start with the good: The property is very close to North Cascades park. It was very quiet and far enough back from the road to not be disturbed by cars. The large meadow from the Theme Cabins was beautiful. Firepits with ample seating & the property supplied wood for evening fires. The scenery was magnificent with lush trees & great views of the mountains. Right across from the Skagit River which you can walk to for some nice river views. The staff were helpful but slightly overwhelmed....

'Off the busy road in Anacortes, so it was quiet. We were going to arrive late and they waited for us so they could give us the key. This was very helpful. I liked staying there. It was my second time.'

'This property was great. There was a good pet area at the back of the hotel with easy in and out access from all of the rooms. The breakfast had lots if selections With everything from juice, fruit, eggs and hash browns and sausage. Staff was very helpful and the hotel even had a great space for smokers! We were so impressed we sre staying again in July with 13 family members. Great Job La Quenta staff!'

'I like this property and have stayed here many times. It is my go to in Anacortes because rooms are large, quiet, and well heated in the winter. However it is aging and the breakfast really isn’t there. Breakfast has gone downhill steadily especially after Covid. They could do a lot immediately by upping the breakfast game. However it’s also time to start room renovations like new mattresses and linens.'

'We had ants in the bathroom, but the towels were clean. Toilet seat was severely mastered and distasteful looking. The beds were made nicely, but the sheets had stains. The room was not cleaned well. There were large chunks of debris on the floors. The armchair did not look clean at all and the lamp had a burned out bulb. The breakfast was sparse, but tolerable. The staff were helpful and polite though.'
