'What a great little place to just relax. Easy check-in and out. We met the property owners who were friendly and hospitable. We were able to relax for a couple of days without the hustle and bustle of the “popular spots” over a holiday weekend. Thank you for sharing Tranquil Villa!!'

'Property was clean and as pictured. Hosts were very helpful. The beds were comfortable and everything was functional. I did expect the “entire house” listing on Vrbo to actually be just myself and my family in the house, but it is a house divided into two apartments so there may be other neighbors/guests during your visit. The other side/guests have their own separate entry. The neighbors did not interfere with my stay, it just wasn’t expected. It was a nice stay overall and I would recommend...

'My husband and I wanted to have a summer vacation with our infant for the first time. We also have a dog and we really wanted a place the four of us could enjoy together. We loved this home, it was exactly what we wanted! The house was clean and the pool was so much fun. They even had an infant float for the pool which was really nice. 'The River House at Claremont was one of the best properties we have ever stayed in. I am a huge Gone With the Wind fan and this property brought you back to the South prior to the Civil War all we needed were ball gowns to make it really authentic. The house was well appointed with the necessaries (toilet paper, tissues, and toiltetries). In addition the kitchen pantry had salt, pepper, flour and other staples. 'We took our twin daughters up for a few days to have fun at Busch Gardens. This house was perfect for everything that we wanted! The girls each took a friend, so the 4 girls took over the bedrooms upstairs. 'We had a lovely stay in Deena’s cottage. The cottage was super convenient to the car ferry, and we took many fun trips into Williamsburg and Jamestown with the kids. We enjoyed the private slice of beach right outside the cottage and kayaking with the kids in the river. 'This is the second year we have stayed here. Superb views over the James river. Quiet location. Very near Scotland Jamestown ferry. Free and one of the US best trips.There were only 3 of us so the house was spacious and we had a bathroom each. All the facilities you need , Good wifi and Tubi TV. Overall excellent'

'The home was very comfortable for 5 of us with room to spare. Located in a friendly small town. Many extras included. There are many activities for kids. Our grandchildren had a great time, they would have liked to just stay at the property!. The ferry to Jamestown is very convenient and there is much to see on that side. 'We enjoyed our stay so much. We enjoyed playing on our own private beach. The water was so warm each day! Fishing was good on the James River as well. 'The house was just as advertised. Back yard was great for our dog.Home was clean and everything worked. The neighborhood is a bit sketchy and not the most convenient location, but I never felt unsafe and it was quiet.'
