'We love the motel vibe and that's exactly what we got! The owner of the property and the restaurant was at the front desk when we arrived, and he was super friendly and helpful. He even gave us some samples of their beef sticks, which were phenomenal, and we highly recommend you ask about! The room was super clean with plenty of towels and an ice-cold refrigerator. 'Appreciated the outdoor pool after a hot day of hiking and outdoor activity. Also really appreciated that front desk staff immediately put me in a different but identical room after I walked into the first room, tried to close the shade and the cord totally broke. I was very comfortable, had all my needs met and the price was market value'

'We stayed 2 nights at this Hampton. If you're accustomed to staying at various Hampton Inns when you travel, this isn't your typical Hampton Inn. It's older and not as well maintained as other Hamptons. Notably, there were many trucks and vehicles towing trailers in the parking lot when we stayed. Each of the large vehicles parked sideways, taking up 4-8 parking spaces, which created a parking problem for other guests.'

'I loved my stay here, except for the bed, which was hard as a titanium hitchball on the back end of an Alaskan snowmobile. I Thought about sleeping on the floor but it looked too soft to get comfortable. It was like sleeping on a pool table that lost its felt. All joking aside, I would stay at this wonderful place again on a heartbeat, but I’m asking for a soft bed. Loved the experience.'

'Everything was perfect (except for the weather at check-in!). The location is wonderful, we loved the bathroom/showers and greenhouse where we could hang and eat and admire Benka's plants! (So many orchids!). Keith was an awesome host filling us in on everything - even the surrounding area. The walking paths are beautiful and serine. The additional 5 canine hosts were adorable and Mici I'm so sorry you didn't spend at least one night with us! I wish we would have been able to stay longer...
