'Amazing stay! Cabin had all the basics and the view was amazing. Two minor issues not worth taking a star off for but worth noting. The website say firewood, fire starters.and snacks are extra however when I read the paper in the cabin, it says they are free. Texted the number and the confirmed that it indeed was free despite the s'mores package stating that it was $7. The other minor issue is that while the s'mores were free, they were expired almost two months ago so we did not eat them....

'Very nice place to get away and stay! The cabin was very clean and updated. The owners were very clear on door codes and instructions making it very easy to check in and check out. If you are looking for a rustic feeling without sacrificing the reach of technology, then this place is definitely for you!! '

'What a great cabin to come back to each afternoon after fun-filled days at Elephant Rocks, Johnson Shut-Ins, Shepherd Mountain and Taum Sauk - all within a 35 minute drive. Clean, comfortable, and unexpectedly spacious for our family of four and four-legged friends. But if you don't find it big enough, just step outside to some wonderfully big views on the deck or at the fire pit. We've stayed in quite a few rentals, and this one was definitely at the top of the list. '

'Beautiful property with great amenities and very clean. We didn't realize that there was no cell phone service or Wi-Fi at the property but it ended up being a really nice weekend unplugged. The property was very comfortable everything was well thought out and it was very clean so you could relax and feel like you were at home. '

'We had a family wedding at Pebble Creek Farm, just 6 miles away from The Roost. Ten of us including aunts and uncles and nieces and nephews had plenty of room at the house to get ready for the wedding, and to gather for snacks and games in the kitchen afterwards. Everything was really clean and comfortable. We would love to come back here and stay for a winery weekend! '

'Our family (with 2 kids 9 & 11) had a great stay in Turtle Rock. The pool was great and stocked with pool floats. The cabin was clean and well-appointed with lots of room for our family (murphy bed was comfortable) and a charcoal grill on the patio. Also nice having a washer/dryer in the unit. 'Loved the location where the cabins are on the other side of the lake. Beautiful view of lake, very peaceful! The only drawback for us (3 senior ladies) there was no swimming access even though there should have been! You can only swim at the lodges designated swim. A roped off small area with lifeguard. We would rather swim across from our location. The cabin was nice and clean but bunk beds weren’t the best for older ladies. We dealt though! Loved the porch and serenity! '
