This hotel is under remodel, so the check in process was a bit makeshift and went slowww - meaning one guy was running everything from a conference table in a hallway at the heaviest check late afternoon around 4pm. He was so professional and helpful and did great but I felt bad for him because it was definitely a lot for one person to run the show with such limited resources. 'Worst hotel experience in my life. When I walked in the lobby there were two cats loudly meowing behind the counter. There were two other families in front of me waiting for their rooms. A fourth family showed up after me. The lady working there took the cats outside and never returned. The only other person working was on a phone call for over 30 minutes trying to figure out if there were any clean rooms left before he finally gave a room to the family who showed up AFTER me - the same double...

'It is a very tired dated property. There is no bar, or restaurant. The room we were given was a bit spooky. It was huge. It was way too large for a handicapped person. It was dark and creepy without a safe chair to sit in. I do not know if all the rooms were like ours, but I doubt it. We felt that since we booked through Expedia, we got a weird room. I would never stay in that room again. It was on the ground floor, and we both felt vulnerable.'

'The room was clean and the beds were comfortable; the showers could use an update. The WiFi didn’t work in our room nor could we get a cell signal which was slightly frustrating but I think that was an isolated problem to the location of our room.'
