'Staff really went out of their way to make guests happy. Nothing was too difficult. The property suited my needs very well; comfortable, plenty of space to relax, homely, safe and clean with staff on-hand to assist if required. I'd stay there again.'

'Excellent place to stay! I highly recommend it if you’re looking for somewhere that feels like a home away from home, with genuine local knowledge and hospitality. George, Selina and Siupeli (apologies if I’ve spelt any names incorrectly!) were all so lovely and welcoming. The breakfast was also fresh, healthy and delicious. Highly recommend staying here!'

'Helaas deze keer een slechte beoordeling. De badkamer was vreselijk. Uitgeslagen badkranen, alles slecht.

'This was a last minute booking made when our preferred booking was cancelled, after being confirmed more than three months earlier, apparently due to overbooking??? On arrival, the toilet was broken and dirty. The room wasn't secure as a window locking mechanism was broken. And, for most of our stay the internet wasn't available. And then, the controls for the television and the air conditioner were labeled in Chinese--awkward. The continental breakfast was minimal, and during our stay, had...

'This was our second stay at Simon's Place, we like the relaxed, genuine Tongan atmosphere. The owners and staff go out of their way to be helpful and friendly. Lovely help yourself breakfast and the cafe meals are delicious too.
It's a convenient location, just a short 10 minute stroll to town past the market or to the waterfront and it can be interesting with the wandering dogs (we never had any trouble), cockerels and chickens - even an occasional pig and piglets!! Hey, it's Tonga,...
