'We really loved the setting of the cabin. Boyd Pond is beautiful! We loved seeing critters outside, like geese and loons on the water. We made breakfasts in the kitchen and spent a lot of time looking out over the water both from the table and sitting on the deck. It was nice to watch TV at night and have a space of our own. '

'A very pleasant antique farm house, convenient to downtown Canton. Our hosts were friendly and communicative. '

'We had an excellent stay at this property! It had a beautiful deck that we spent most of our time on using the grill and taking in the scenery. The floating dock was our favorite part. It was so relaxing and overlooked a beautiful lake Cove. The host was accommodating, easy to communicate with, and very nice. We would love to stay again sometime!'

'This was a lovely spot. It was a bit chilly when the weather was bleak but the dock was a wonderful place to hang out when the sun came out. Loved our stay. Good location for a Clarkson graduation celebration.'

'Boyd Pond is really more of a private lake. It’s a nice size… big enough to explore and it never felt crowded. It was small enough that we felt safe letting our teen boys boat by themselves. There is not much to do in the immediate vicinity, bye nearby towns are very small and you need to drive around 30min to get to a grocery store, ice cream etc. We did take a day trip to Wescott Park and spent the day on the beach on Lake Ontario and highly recommend that. The lack of tourist offerings...

'Our family of 5 stayed for 4 nights with our golden retriever. Such a beautiful setting and very peaceful. We really enjoyed the pontoon boat and boat house. We swam in the lake every day. Highly recommend checking out the Rainbow Falls trail and Lampson Falls trail nearby. The host was very responsive and helpful. The place was clean and beds were comfy. '

'This place is amazing! Super clean and filled with everything you’ll need to have a great time regardless of the time of year. The decorations were updated for the holiday season and everything was spotless. '

'I would have to say that overall the accommodation was spectacular and John and Ashley were very attentive and hospitable. My only issue was not really understanding the placement and layouts of the bedrooms before handhandhand.'

"Het hotel heeft betere tijden gekend en echt een update nodig. We waren iets te vroeg, er werd veel nieuwe gedaan de kamer klaar te maken dat was heel prettig. Minder qua service was het ontbijt. Dat was al zeer karig maar werd ook niet bijgevuld dus er was vrij snel zo goed als niks meer. Het lijkt erop dat de dame van de receptie ook het ontbijt niet doen. Geen handige combi. Kamer op zich ruim, bedden prima maar alles oogt oud. Wij vonden het erg zeer gehorig (veel mensen nemen honden mee) Plek is wel ideaal! "
