'The place was exactly as depicted in the pictures - fresh, clean, cozy, comfortable, serene with a gorgeous view! The reason I'm only giving it an overall rating of 4, is because: 1 - There's no bathtub (yes, the description clearly states shower only - but come on! e/o loves a bath after a tiring day..) 2 - There is a raised stone slab on the floor where the fireplace should be. 'Incredible house, very vintage and cozy; the porch in the front of the house is out of this world on a rainy night - you can see literally all of the stars! The room was very nice, the shower, the bed was quite comfortable. The best part of it all was our host; he was extremely helpful, friendly and down to earth. 'I was on a motorcycle trip ... I got there mid morning ... hours ahead of check in time. I was saturated from traveling on motorcycle through mountain areas in a very heavy storm. The manager moved me to a different room to let me go in early and get out of the rain, which was very much appreciated.'

'Hitorical, straightforward, part of REAL community, NOT A STERILE HOTEL, personable while professional. It has old fashioned boarding house charm. Highly recommend, unless you are seeking the Hilton.'
