Choosing the cabin as a first time “off-grid” goer was a bit intimidating but with WiFi a few walks away and the views made me forget about that. The hot shower and the bathroom steps away was exceptional to offer on this type of getaway. To be in this privacy of a property with this type of view is something you don’t just get to experience so easily, I know this because I have been to many...

'Rustic and homey as I would imagine a quaint ski motel. Decorated with beautiful pieces of art by local artists. Loved Beck's Tavern constructed of Yurts out back, with live music. And Beck's Tavern serves delicious German cuisine.'

'The property was so cute and exactly as pictured. The photos may look like it’s a little outdated but nothing about the cabin made us feel it was “old” (almost kitschy in a way) the beds were new and comfortable. The kitchen had everything you could possibly need to cook meals. Everything was clean! The owner was very friendly and personally called us that evening to see if we had any questions. It was close to Gore mountain. My friends and I are thinking about coming back when the pools open...

'First of all, this place is just gorgeous. The decor, cleanliness and cozy feel can't be beat. Yes, the lack of running water is challenging, but I had a warm shower each day and even managed to shave. Cooking, washing and showering just took longer. I wasn't in a rush. My only complaint is the incinerator toilet. I think my bladder is just too large, so caution there. Otherwise, it worked well. The communication was rapid and effective. I'd stay here again for sure!'

'This cozy cabin was absolutely perfect. As a teacher, I especially appreciated the thoughtful organization—it made everything easy. I have family in the area, and the location was a perfect distance to lake luzerne. This is an ideal spot for us to relax- especially around the fire pit. The home was clean, quiet, and stocked with every amenity we could need. The best part, my sweet baby boy Brody loved it too! I’ll definitely be renting again. '
