'Everything was easy about our stay: the location was ideal to pop over to the VIC for some XC skiing; kitchen was adequately set with pans, tools, etc.; easy trips to Saranac Lake and Lake Placid for restaurants.The big surprise was the AMAZING sunrise views of Whiteface and the MacKenzie Mountains.'

'Onze kamer, nr.6, deed erg benauwd aan (laag plafond, erg groot dressoir in de kamer waar je niets mee kunt). Gedeelde badkamer zeer klein, geen mogelijkheid om je was spullen neer te zetten. Vloer zeer schuin, huis is erg oud. Aan het onbijt wordt veel aandacht gegeven. Je kan opgeven wat je wilt en het wordt vers voor je bereid.'

'Great breakfast with a fresh fruit salad! Very nicely refurbished rooms to mid-century style. The beds were a bit too soft for our liking, but still verry comfortable. Public area with a nice fire place. All in all a very nice motel!'

'The owner was extremely kind and helpful and he was interested in the countries the guests were from. The room was clean and well-kept, the beds comfortable , the decor rustic and authentic. The breakfast was limited (eg no bagels or bread) but a muffin or muesli-bar and a good cup of coffee from the lobby were enough to get started.'

A fantastic choice for convenience and excellent service!'

'This isn't a luxury room in the sense of being new/updated with a lot of space. The main area is dated, but it has everything you need and an updated bath area and it's a great location if you are in Wilmington for something. We were there for the Whiteface uphill bike race. Meg seemed available to help although we didn't need anything.'

'This was my first hiking trip in the Adirondacks and this little house was just perfect for my visit. All the comforts of home from the welcoming living room to the nicely stocked kitchen to the beautiful outdoor setting. Very quiet neighborhood in the woods but easy to get to the places I wanted to explore. About a 20 minute drive to Lake Placid. Enjoyed the gas fireplace! Can’t wait to come back next fall because there is so much to do in this area! '
